Wild Geneva Part 1

One thing as I might have mentioned once or twice, is that there is no lack of open space, parks and trees in and around Geneva. A consequence of this is a variety of wildlife of which no doubt we'll see more. Here's a first pick of what we have seen either on our walks or in the case of a red squirrel, from our apartment!



I was surprised to see a chipmunk near Perle du Lac, but not that surprised to see some familiar faces on the rocks!



These lovebirds were in the Jardin Botanique, as was this cactus!



The friendly sparrows are everywhere, as are flowers!



The lake is home to dozens of swans - here's a youngster. The other fella is another resident of the Jardin Botanique.
